In terms of age it's probably more relevant when the car was designed than when it was built?
The Morgan Trad is a classic design from a certain period in time.
Even a new one.

The definitive version of "classic" is to be found in the OED, unfortunately this doesn't really fit with what most people call a classic car.
It must be for our purposes initially what our insurance company thinks, then for use on the road, what the DVLA thinks, then for shows, what the organisers think and lastly what the general public think.
At the end of the day, who cares as long as we all enjoy ourselves.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

I don't believe there is a right or wrong definition - they are like women beauty and value is purely in the eye of the beholder.
I am more than happy that my car is of classic design but I'm not bothered at all which part of a car park I am herded into, I couldn't give a stuff I'm happy with it and think most of you guys are happy with yours too no matter what torygraph may think.
Doubtless in time the Veyron will be called one - to me it is a very fast slug like object of no desire.
Yeah but you can’t deny the nice warm feeling when your modern Morgan is directed to a classic car park! Especially when it’s on naughty black and silver plates!  🤓
