I've just come across this ARP4 for sale over the channel: http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/morgan/plus+4/245578 and at the current exchange rate of around €1.12 to the £ it looks as if they are asking around £79,900. No wonder the last one that Berrybrook took back was converted to LHD. I think I'll get mine done, make my fortune and retire.

You have to compare the price that the car would have been sold at new over the other side of the channel if they ever were. prices is allways a good bit more when Morgan exports cars.

Oh and you have to get it through the French registration system.

You lot back in Blighty don't know how lucky you are; Morgans are very expensive over here.

Normally Morgans are much more expensive e.g. in Germany. My 2011 Plus4 SS was an exemption. This limited series was not intended to be sold outside the UK. But my dealer got some of them. So my price was exactly the UK price in € currency plus 3000€ for LHD conversion. (This low convertion costs were only possible because MMC took all the exchange parts back for new value - steering, dashboard etc, parts which were relevant to make a change to a LHD conversion)

Therefore in comparison for the price of a „German“ Roadster she was a bargain talking € currency and German prices. I‘m wondering if the ARP4 was sold abroad under different conditions but I don‘t believe so. Therfore the wanted price of this classified is rediculous. On the other hand you can always find folks who wants to pay for it.

I don't know about the current price list but when I bought the Plus 4 the LHD version was about 5% more than the RHD version at the factory.

Did it get sold Thierry or are you still enjoying it? Looks really very smart in Matte silver. You were wise not to order the red calipers, from memory they were around £350 for all 4, whereas a can of caliper paint would have been, maybe £20? Plus an hour or two of my time.
