-7.5C Last night on the way home from the Christmas party in the early hours . We where just 10 mile South at Chester le Street golf Club . They had a special dial at the castle ( Lumley Castle ) next door but it has a ghost and I did not want to frighten it in the night if I got up for the loo . Roads like a sheet of glass , but main roads well salted . Took care on way back. oddly it was not cold enough to take your breath. I was thinking mog in garage .  ps. I have put a pullover on must be getting soft

What's a pullover ? 39 degrees in Perth (Aus) today With a similar longer range forecast too - in face no snow forecast for 365 days.

What's a pullover ? 39 degrees in Perth (Aus) today hard luck! I remember what that was like in India last year - 43C then. no wonder the country is 75% empty. Oz that is.

Late one night, when returning from a 'party', and carrying a tray with a large dish of half eaten trifle....................
I did a 'both legs to the left' superquick slide and went down hard. My main concern was the integrity of the trifle. I managed to put a perfect imprint of my face into the tin foil which was protecting it.
Phew!

Phew! Good work. My mother used to make a very fine sherry trifle, which I adored as young boy. As a special treat one year she made a huge one, half a gallon I should think, which I consumed in one sitting. Can't abide the stuff now.

Yes its still cold and no I have not turned soft . I have had to use that lip stuff a bit like lip stick but not red to stop my lips cracking and before you start It has MOG 2014 on the tube . Well I hope its for lips  said it was

Richard nothing like a good snow ball fight with your best mate , or the @:"%&*+@ gets hold of you and stuffs it down the back of your neck till it drops to your arse and your pants get wet . I had to pass the Catholic school on the way home . To get pelted with snowballs and the cry's of take that you prody %*&@~ Shouting back your all left handed and crap as I ran like hell.
