I'm wondering if rainex may be the problem......it says on my bottle do not use on perspex etc. Maybe it has miicro etched the surfacee...?

But why is one panel OK?

That's the odd thing, plus the fact that it misted before I tried anything, although the previous owners may have applied something.

Whatever the issue, it doesn't affect one panel, but they all look the same when shiny.

I have the same issue. One side is far worse than the other.

It has to be freezing cold or hoofing it with rain to have the hood up, so not often.
Therefore the same towel with which we mop up any water ingress, suffices to wipe any condensation off the sidescreens.

Since my misting is worse with the roof down, roof down is not a fix.
So today I first removed the mist with Autoglym intensive tar remover. This, so far has been the longest lasting treatment.

I then applied Meguiars Plastx plastic polish, and when cleaned off with a microfibre this gives a nice shiny surface. I haven't touched the one which stays clear.

Next I've applied something new - the Swissvax Nano Express. This has polished up very nicely and so we'll see how this goes.

It won't take long, because if it stays cold, in a day or two it will have misted over.

Hood up or down it mists up. Rainex makes no difference on that side

Hood up and heater on stops the misting on the inside..........
