Tim, we have to be away by 14:30 as I'm down to take daughter to Southampton Airport for an 18:30 flight and it is about 2hrs from the pub to the airport. Do you think that it would be possible to get away at that time?
I'll confirm numbers tomorrow. Could be 1, 2 or 3...

I'll confirm numbers tomorrow. Could be 1, 2 or 3... I would think so, If we get there by 12 . We're usually done by 15:00, so a 14:30 getaway is pretty feasible.

OK, I've just booked a table for 15 for next Thursday at 12:00. As it's a large group and some of us need to get away promptly they've asked us to pre-order food, so I'll post the menu up as soon as I receive it and you can make your selections.

Looking forward to this. Just watched the weather & it looks warm and wet. Like the soup, probably.. I like soups to be wet It seems to be fashionable to make soups very thick with fancy dan vegetables, spices and beans that all taste like spicy thick mud Being back consommé Fish soup

Broths are now very trendy indeed - if you have anything "with broth/in broth" the price goes up by at least £5!
