And you are surprised???

Damian green was sacked for lying not for having legal porn on his computer

He lied saying he didn’t know of the allegations a few weeks ago when he did as he reported it to his solicitor at the time a few years ago

I’m guessing when David Davis made that threat it was made on the condition that he would be sacked on the basis of conjecture of the whether the porn was actually on his computer or not and not on his lying

Sadly not, it popped up on my Facebook feed this morning and I shamelessly stole it.

Just a little curious to know what will happen to all the EU number plates after Brexit?????

I suppose UK cars will have to go back to carrying the GB badge or sticker when in Europe.

Unless as part of the detail of the leaving agreement, we continue to use the EU style plate, with blue stripe and GB.

A thought: EU Passports are maroon, why isn't the numberplate strip the same colour???

Don't give those Brussels gravy train loonies ideas Peter.

I see a poll shows hat no EU nation wants to join Martin Schulz's dream of a United States of Europe.

Because the EU flag is blue with the ring of stars.

I think a "United States of Europe" is an impossibility. The EU is actually a confederation all be it with many characteristics of a federation. For me it sits somewhere between the two. Switzerland refers to itself as a confederation but is much more akin to a federation in its current system of administration. I doubt very much that Europe will ever see this level of federation and is unlikely to move much more towards federation than it has already.
That is to say common currency, common standards, a degree of homologated law such as civil rights, standards for manufactured goods, agricultural products etc. Many of these are designed to create common systems and regulations where the movement of people, goods, and services are involved. The vast bulk of law and regulations is firmly within the domain of the member states and will remain that way.

Perhaps the biggest mistake made by the EU was set up in Brussels instead of London and to create the Euro instead of nominating the Pound as the common currency hide

Okay the reason for the Blue passports now becomes more clear. The border guard is becoming the home guard and is going part time.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017...uard-uk-borders

Why this is not being addressed with technology to a higher degree when we have this moment to make a change is beyond me. No doubt they are working out which external agency they can give £1bn to in order to tell them to do it correctly. After all doing it in under two years is impossible.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
