At one stage Peter Ballard was thinking of a 5 link system for the 4 seater. I don't know if he continued with it though. Demand would be very small I would think.

I got a nice email after Mog17 from Peter explaining it wasn’t possible sadly on the 4 seaters so he probably gave up on the idea which I can fully understand

No not yet

I did try for tomorrow at one stage to coincide with Jays calling down, but then I went for Friday to coincide with driving back up to a charity ball in Birmingham on Friday night but Williams want a bit more time to sort a few paint scuffs on the sill (I’ve not seen the car and it was Williams that spotted them and wanted to sort)

I would rather they took their time to get it bob on so awaiting a call

Still excited though but in a way enjoying a bit of time clearing and sorting an empty garage

A bit of a drift away but I always liked Claudio's 2+2. It would still work well even without the +2 seats which would seem to be a problem for homologation.

Nice, he has some brillian designs on his webpage. That representation has a hood and rear sidescreens very much like the old MG TD/TF, which to my eyes always worked well, unlike the ugly 'hunchback' hood on the most recent 4 seaters.

Stretched cars tend to be stranger than the originals.

Yet, I believe that a limited streching could work on a Morgan four-seater with snobmog doors.

I wouldn't want an LWB 4-seater as my only Morgan, but it's an intriguing idea as a second or third. A 24-inch stretch would allow more room for both passengers and cargo, and might look good if it is well styled. It would surely lose some of the nimbleness of a standard 4-seater but it might be a lot of fun for a 4-person outing. I'm a little surprised that no one has tried this already.

I am now facing an issue with my '99 four seater similar to Stuarts car except for being a low line which means it has wider tyres not lower ones, (yes true but then it is a Morgan) over the years I have done numerous upgrades but now my youngest lad has decided to grow to a huge size owing to continuous eating.

The basic car is OK but now it needs about 2 inches in the back additional knee room which as above is not bad, some of this is there because the fuel tank filler is in a silly place also the seat is a bit narrow in the back but as there is a wide central strip then another inch could be provided in the seat each side.

In a general sense then even the latest 4 seaters have the fuel filler in a dumb place as this could allow the seat to go back a bit more, as above the car could be more relaxed, the Morgan effort to try and go up market always looked like a bit of a stretch in a crowded field, much better to recapture the golden age of motoring with areal grand tourer complete with three position hood, all those WW2 films with the general in his Merc show how - but back to the Mog just two inches could make a difference with the spare wheel alongside the engine could look like a classy snobmog with slightly deeper bodysides.

If I had the money I would buy one!
