Got a new pair of trail Running Shoes yesterday - the woman in the specialist shop said she thought they would be suitable for me - but not my usual brand (new ones are Mizuno).I thought she was having me on when I looked at the sole to see a picture of a fat man there. Of course they were Michelins - never knew they made running shoe soles. Went for a run in them - very wet surface but shoes stuck like glue to the path and great on cornering. No information on what pressures to keep them at in the info. any ideas?!! (22psi sole & 24 heel?)
Happy New Year to all our readers.

sounds great - but I wouldn't fancy going to Quick Fit every time I needed to take them on or off.... getcoat

Perhaps they should use the same compound for their tyres maybe?

In some parts of Southern & Eastern Africa people made sandles out of old tyres. I’m talking about 30 years ago. It would be nice to think that had changed, but I doubt it.

A relatively weathly person could have a range of sandles from slicks through to wets!

Practical recycling at its most basic and most useful.

I am currently running on a pair of Asics and had a pair of memory soles made after they put me on a running track that told me I was over pronating ! I notice that my running shoes last longer than my walking shoes over similar distances. Makes me think we should run rather than walk. Cheaper on shoe leather! Despite paying more for the Asics they don't make me run faster! Maybe fit some throttle bodies!
