Thanks Tim for keeping us posted. I will include Your pictures with My Morgan How To's on My computer. I doubt I will replace My Wings with fiberglass, but as parts become scarcer this will be the only fix.

Getting near the final stretch now. Apart from the trimming, which is a long and painstaking business, it's pretty difficult to get everything aligned precisely because there's no standard reference points across the car. the left inner wing is about 6mm lower and further forward than the right, which in turn is about 6mm closer to the centreline of the car. It's all further complicated by the fact that the fibreglass wings are around 5 or 6mm thick whereas the old steel wings are 1mm or less. But we're just about there at last, I fitted the cowl this morning and wonder of wonders the bonnet fits too! Next jobs are to fit the lights, wing stays, and grills, then it's on to polishing them up. One thing I'm going to have to address at some point are the mould lines, they aren't too bad (looks like the edges of paint protection film) and should be able to be rubbed/polished out.

Looking good Tim. For the mould lines, try 1000 wet/dry with a block and soapy water. Follow with cutting compound and polish.
