PS I'm just back from 4 weeks in Oz and one in NZ where EVs are as rare as an England fast bowler

and likely to remain so for some time given low population density outside the cities. On the south island of NZ we drove for an hour, did not pass through a village, saw maybe a few houses and not more than a few cars. And this was on one of the main highways from the Alps down to Christchurch. However I'm pleased to report that the sheep are doing well, although now numerically challenged by dairy cows.
