Nothing Morgan related......................

But........... deep cleaned the Golf after our recent Devon trip - and fitted two new headlamp protectors because one was badly damaged on the trip. Re-applied Rain-X to glass.
Replaced a garage door lock.
Found a new keyring for the gate key.
Made a mat for my new lighthouse..............

Finally managed to get my new mobile phone to pair with the Golf after restoring factory defaults.
Repaired one of MrsW's rubber gloves.
Dried out the garage roof where there had been a leak.
Cleaned and 'repaired' the walking boots.
Printed off some stuff.

Also nothing Morgan related, although I did check the battery was still fully charged, just in case I can get out one day...

So I spent the day looking at the rain whilst siting in my "man cave" and finishing my model of S/L "Bee" Beaumont's Hawker Typhoon from 1942.

This is what it looks like...

Some more transfers to apply, the U/C to add and then weathering so it looks less like a model. Should be done by the end of Feb, not bad when allowing for the fact that I started it in 1973....

Beaumont went on after the war as a Test Pilot, including flying the TSR2 from Boscombe Down, just up the road.

I also made the first batch of Seville Orange Marmalade...

But I'd really like it to stop raining...!!

I have been...

- Tidying up the log store
- Shifting a load of compost ready for sieving and seeding
- Cleaned out the cool greenhouse, set up the trays ready
- Cleaned out the propagator ready for the first batch of seeds in a couple of weeks (peppers, chilli, and sweetcorn)

Now off down the garage for an hour to clean the Morgan.

Discovering that the white flaky stuff on the Morgan’s pristine paintwork is in fact paint from the ceiling in the garage flaking off because of a really slow water leak from somewhere near the mid-positioned bath taps in the bathroom above the garage which will need a major dismantling of tiled studwork to access. Oh joy! There’s a towel in position now to prevent any more drainage (it’s a very slow leak).

Nice dry topless 63 mile round trip in partial sunlight - it's good to get out there again after 5 weeks of heavy rain and salted roads in between times.
