After the inaugural event last April, the sprint track is booked and Julia and myself are now taking entries for the 2018 event

We are hoping to build on the great success of last year by tempting more M3W owners to join us for, what we hope, will be another glorious and fun filled day (We already have 7 confirmed M3W entries, with another 2 highly likely)

A further reason to attend is that Garage 56 will be demonstrating their M3W performance enhancement kit - so this is the perfect opportunity to see what they have on offer - Out on the Track smile drive laugh

There should be a good selection of MTWC racers carrying out some pre-season testing while everyone else has a blast in their road going M3W or other Morgan 3 wheelers. Please note that there will only ever be one car on the track at a time, and there isn't too much to hit should you find the limit of your talent hide

For those who don't fancy taking their pride and joy out on the track, why not come for a day out to meet other Morgan owners and maybe enjoy a passenger ride. Furthermore, the event coincides with the first Curborough Breakfast Gathering of the year, so we expect the paddock to be busy with interesting cars/bikes and the Cafe will be open

As this event is a private hire of the Curborough track the participating vehicles do not need to satisfy ACU/MSA requirements (lock wiring, etc.). All that is required is that drivers and passengers wear safety helmets. Whilst these do not have to be to current ACU or MSA standards, they must be structurally sound. There will be spare helmets available to borrow.

The maximum cost should be around £70 per Morgan 3 Wheeler, but dependant on the number of entries this could reduce significantly…….last year it was just £45 each and everyone got oodles of track time!
There is no charge for entry to Curborough or for passenger rides.

Thanks Austin for inviting me to set up a stand in the paddock to show my drive train upgrade kits. There have been many setbacks and a few U turns but at last I am ready to make them available to others. I hope there will be a 5 speeder there on the day with a full upgrade fitted as well as my machine which will be there for people to have a trial run in and see how well they think it works.
I hope also to be able to do a " pit stop " display which will be of much interest to 5 speeder owners.
Looking forward enormously to joining you on Friday evening for a good old chinwag.
Phil

Thanks Austin
This is looking like a must attend day.

Even if I will be in my 4/4 as a spectator.

Interested to see Phils development work first hand.

Everyone had a great time last year and all the M3W attendees are coming back for more drive......and along with others who have already confirmed their place we are already up to 10 M3W’s, with another one very likely 😀
Some are well known names from TM and MTWC, so if you don’t fancy having a go on the track, just come along for a social get together and to put faces to some of those names!

This is an event not to be missed!!

Really looking forward to it and a great chance to have a taste of competition.

Anybody thinking of doing a few sprints etc, we'll be happy to let you know the few little things required for track prep - can all be done in a couple of hours.

See you all there!!

Thanks for the conformation email Austin - I have to say I am looking forward to it enormously. Not too sure if I will come up Friday eve or just leave very early Saturday, as I will be working till gone 6pm at Brooklands, but hope to be there bright an early regardless. Looking forward to seeing everyone and of course eye-ing up Mr Bleazey's excellent developments!

If you want to join the dozen M3W’s who have booked their place on the track, don’t hang around too long as the day is nearly sold out!!!

I may be able to marshal...
Diary presently clear, but depends on new employment (which hasn't materialised yet).
