I decided to order a mota lita 4 spoke. I am away from the Morgan on vacation can anyone tell me the diameter of the factory wheel?

It's a nominal 14". Just replaced my factory wheel yesterday with a Moto Lita unit, and the 14" ML wheel was fractionally larger (~1/4") than the OEM one, though the grip is slightly thinner.

Took about 10 weeks to receive the ML wheel, btw.

Thanks Steve did you get the leather wrapped version? How does it compare to the quality of the factory one?

Leather wrapped, 3 slotted spokes. Much nicer than the factory unit. Now I can see the gauges! I'll post a photo when I get chance later today.

The drivers view: my preferred 10-2 hand position and speedo now visible. I requested the spokes be anodized black.

I use the standard steering wheel for racing, but fit my Brooklands wheel for cruising on the road. It looks fantastic, but is far too skinny for proper use

Noticed the M3W quick release was being sold off for £25 by Morgan at Prescott. Picked on up for a future alternative steer (and meanwhile as a "cover" for the greased steering wheel mount for when getting in and out of the car with the wheel removed)... but if anyone is interested might be worth pinging Morgan Spares dept at the factory...

I kept the stock wheel but swapped it out for the Brooklands. I think it looks much better but there is a caveat: You lose the padding so that buying Biker's gloves is a good idea. The H-D stores carry a decent line of half gloves, regular and insulated but they all have padding on the palms! It becomes necessary in short order as the vibration coming through the steering wheel can be amazing.

I have just fitted a Mota Lita 4 spoke which is completely in fitting with the rest of the car as it is uncomfortable with the thin rim and spoke position, impractical as it is slippery in the wet, but looks beautiful.

I loved my 4 spoke on my last Morgan

I went for the thicker rim version though

I’d swap my current 3 spoke one out in a flash for a larger 4 spoke but the current one was specially made to match the dash
