I can't find exactly what, but it was an "homologation penalty" imposed for the 7 & 8th rounds in Portugal. Before that the Aero had been setting poles & a win. Afterwards, Audi won everything.

To be fair, Aston & Corvette also had homologation penalties - it seems that the rules were relaxed between 2008 & 2009, and Morgan found an edge in May & June races.

Not a lot....
Most of the parts were bespoke for the LM cars, as are the components of the GT3 cars

The GT cup cars were much closer to the road going versions (or at least they started off that way...)
