E-bay showing a couple of strange listings for Morgans (selling on behalf of family member £7k).

It’s still there! 99p starting bid, wants 7k, seller also lists an RS 2000, Isetta, Lotus Elan, Lotus Esprit, Classic bikes etc, all on 99p start. Says viewing available Nottingham, gotta be a scam though.........

If it’s that 1947 flat rad, it’s been up for sale before on eBay with an equally unusual listing that looked dodgy
It might be genuine and there could be a very good reason that someone wants 7K for it. There could be lots of reasons it’s not worth much

Yes definately been removed again
eBay don’t like listings that are just there to do deals outside of the website
Cars either go in their classified section which has a set fee or they go on as an auction where the seller pays a percentage of the final sale price
I bought my first Morgan on eBay from a seller that listed it as a ‘buy it now’ or ‘nearest offer’. I bought it through eBay on an accepted offer and although I paid cash when I collected it, the seller would have had to pay 5% of the total price through PayPal which would have been a Hefty £875
Still probably less than a commission sale through a dealer but I think a dealer would have got more for it

Still probably less than a commission sale through a dealer but I think a dealer would have got more for it Ebay fees for cars are not that steep. They usually work out at £50 to £70 maximum for a car.
