Impressive piece of off-roading considering the limited ground clearance.
The feeling of total lack of control must have been a bit scary, pleased no one was hurt.

Looking at it I think it's a write off.
I suspect the chassis is bent.
I could be wrong but...

Even If the chassis is bent, is this still classed as a write off, being a Morgan ?

Sometimes they will straighten the chassis or fit a new one if the car is in generally good condition.
When I had an altercation in my Sport chassis straightening was the solution - so I rejected it and took the insurance money full market value and bought the Plus8.
I knew I would not feel happy driving a car whose chassis had been subjected to severe torsional distress twice !
I would be surprised to see this one written off.

Even If the chassis is bent, is this still classed as a write off, being a Morgan ? It all depends upon the money! Yes you can rebuild it , no problem , but factor in the hours of labour from a dealer and you quickly rank up the £££££s. The insurance company will only pay up to the market value (or agreed value if you go with certain companies) and this can be a long way short of the rebuild cost if it needs a new chassis, frame front, wings, valences , steering , suspension, wheels etc etc.

Hopefully if the insurance company does write it off it will get classified as rebuildable so someone else can put it back on the road.
