Strap yourselves in !!!!.....

7.30am its still misty in the Vale of York but a dry day is forcast for my150 mile drive over some of my favourite roads over the Yorkshire Moors ,onto Whitby and then down the Yorkshire coast calling at Robin Hoods Bay and Filey.

Tank is full of 99 ron fuel, the roof is down and the ambient temperature is 2 c.

Insulated suit on and sheepskin lined leather helmet secured...its time to press the start button and go.

I drive on a short stretch of the York ringroad and feel sorry for the commuters heading for the city.I get a few waves and smiles and a few curious looks as in what is that silly old bugger doing with the roof down in this weather!!!

The MZR engine warms up quickly, the heater is on and I am soon on the twisty cross country B roads.

With the roof down I'm more aware of the induction roar and a sound in between gears not unlike the hiss of a dump valve beloved of the modified hatchback brigade...I like it!!!.

Once again the capability of the +4 SS surprises me.. overtaking
is effortless and safe...it tackles the hills in a gear higher than expected and handles the twisty bits in a surefooted manner.

We're beginning to trust each other...Iam not going to hurt it and hopefully it is not going to hurt me !!!

I tried to fit the tonneau today but it didn't want to play..too cold..I will take it indoors to warm it up and try again.

Another good day...I'm so lucky !!!!

So one of my friends is the Coxwain of Filey Lifeboat and he loves Morgans so I called in to see him and had a cup of coffee and a bun.

He knows all about the Supersport series and unbeknown to me while he was showing me something in his workshop he stuck this under my bonnet...I hate him !!!!

However I feel another decal coming on !!!!

I’m jealous, it’s been blue skies since mid-morning today, but work I must.

Cracking pictures, worth the effort despite the bad parking!

Suspension settings: 4 clicks on the front and 6 on the rear.

Suits me...great handling without bottomimg out

Keep the Faith !!!!!

Just for the fun of it, try is also in the opposite way. I always had very good results concerning comfort and sportive controlled handling when the back was softer than the front, which is so I have learned often the general setting at old school cars. It must not be exactly 6 and 4 clicks but a tendency to make the rear softer than the front.

LOL at your mate; methinks he knows you too well Kev. innocent

Good on you for taking full advantage of a sunny, Spring day.
I've wasted the day in the workshop with a recalcitrant jigsaw and some plywood - woodwork is not my forte I'm afraid.... swear

Car is looking ace drive
