With the Roaster power, it is what it needs, not only what it deserves It’s the five link on the rear... At long last it gets the suspension it deserves! 🤓

I postponed my January build to get this new spec which comes on line in April (but was sworn to secrecy) Mine should be the first one built...

But I know what you mean, and well done. I'm led to believe it's the ARP4 five link rear arrangement, although I stand to be corrected..

Its not exactly as per ARP4 5-link set-up when I asked James Gilbert. But its very similar. I don't believe there are any changes to the front suspension.

It would be great to see some photos from the factory....once the show has gone and it’s no secret any longer. Ian........take your camera on your next tour 😉
That’s the one downside to living oop north now....not working at the factory or being able to pop in for a nose!
Must say that the SSL five link Williams fitted to Nero last year has transformed the car. I was one of the traditionalists that never wanted the cars to move away from the original suspensions......blimey if I’m not too careful I’ll be chasing down a new Plus 8 🙄

You could always follow the "advice" the traditionalists on here gave to anyone proposing suspension modifications - buy an MX5

Never wanting to stand in the way of progress, I have always been very happy with the way that the 2009 Roadster 100 drives with the leaf springs etc.
She corners beautifully and comes back almost all on its own.
She is just a dream to drive.

I felt that my 3.7 Roadster had power well in excess of the suspensions capability and was compromised, particularly on bumpy surfaces.
Fitting Suplex measurably improved the car but further highlighted the shortcomings of the rear suspension.
A Roadster with the new rear suspension and tweaked front suspension must be very impressive indeed.

Have to agree with all that. Loved my 3.7 Roadster - but concluded that the amazing power was OK in a straight line - not anywhere else! Could have upgraded suspension - but backed away from the £5k + cost. This was not why I sold my car ...that was just a brain error!!
