I'd rather have a free Aston... I'm not saying a word.

I see one of the fifty build slots is available via the Aston Workshop for £150k. A little above the £105k list price but you do get a free watch of course!! Not trying to justifying scalping, but I think that the UK price (including taxes) is circa £125K. 😉

Press release clearly states prices start (suspect no hood or screen) at £107k plus local taxes (vat etc)

Yes circa 125K, WOW !, I know that they are all ‘allocated ‘ to dealers. It would be interesting to know how many are actually sold. I know of at least 4 ‘top’ dealers who have a build slot for sale but know of no one in the U.K. that has one on order....

Maybe I'm wrong but the £150k price shown on their website( they are showing slots for both the Speedster and hooded version) suggest to me the base price will be this figure.

Exactly Peter, had an unsolicited offer for mine the other day which took my breath away! At Geneva two Dealers told me that prices for (Aero) Plus 8’s were hardening, even before the 50th models were announced, but a price of circa £150K and a small volume produced overall means the price is only heading in one direction. Not that any of us are planning on selling...

At work we do MOTs for a local secondhand LandRover specialist and the asking prices for late Defenders are just breath-taking. 2 and 3 year old versions selling for sums much higher than the new list price was. I don't see the value in them at all, but once an Icon ceases production up go the prices. I was shocked at the plus 8 limited edition prices at first but thinking about it i suppose it makes perfect sense for MMC to price them so. Great news for existing owners..........
