Guaranteed not a dry eye! Strange what you do when diagnosed with a significant health issue a few years ago. No time for regrets though.

There is only one song to have at your funeral and this is the one.
Not for me. Not a song, perhaps, but it'll have to be the Toccata from Charles-Marie Widor's 5th organ symphony. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtj300j129k (performed here by the great Olivier Latry). I learned the organ at Rugby school. My teacher was a wonderful man, and a fantastic organist, called David Gatward. He always used to play Widor's Toccata at last chapel at the end of every term, so whenever i hear this piece it fills my heart with joy. It means freedom and the holidays to me. As my funeral will be the "last chapel" of my life, this has to be the one. Sadly, I was never proficient enough at the organ to master this piece myself. Nice. This is my second one "O Magnum Mysterium" written by Morten Lauridsen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y9yM53TowAMorten The rest will be my favourite hymns chosen by the good lady.

No regrets from me. When my daughter was born very prematurely I remember going in to the intensive special care unit at the end of the ward. You walked past babies who were older and nearing the stage of going home. I recall thinking why cannot that be us. The nurse must have sensed what I was thinking. She said be careful what you wish for, you’ve no idea what’s going on with any other them.
We all get dealt a hand at time, enjoy what we’ve got. And smile.

Regrets, Yup got loads. Don't care, they are learning experiences and I won't (generally) do them again. I just don't let them define me or drag me under. Each one taught me something.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

My very dear neighbour has months to live.
Advanced Prostate Cancer.
This has sharpened my mind quite a bit.
In realising that it could happen to me in the future am trying to live as full a life as I can - every day!
Yesterday I played 26 songs on my Uke and Banjolele which I have been playing since last Oct, in a concert with 30 other players.
I felt a great sense of elation.
There are many cliches about living later life - some too gung ho for me.
But I try to achieve something meaningful ( to me ) each day.
