Ive been getting the car ready for spring and notice one of the resovoirs is very low, virtually empty. I attach a couple of pictures showing which it is. I think this is the break fluid resovoir, could you confirm ? Even though its low the breaks still seem very firm. Car is a 1996 Plus 4 with Rover 16T engine ps: Couldnt get the images to upload so here is a link to my blog with them on first page Resovoir pics

I can't see any pictures.
I see them on your blog I would guess at the brake fluid reservoir. If not it will be the clutch. they both take the same hydraulic fluid of course.
Sorry I can't be more accurate but I have a Plus 8.

Looks like clutch fluid reservoir to me, with the brake reservoir behind (closer to the car centre).
No matter which, you need to find the leak, before the level gets too low. Probably seal going in the clutch slave cylinder.

Yep , clutch resovoir seal needs sorting !

+1. Clutch the brake one has a level switch in it & 2 wires going to it.
