Hi Everyone,
Had a water leak today and easily traced it to the radiator blanking cap.
Pulled the rubber sealing disc out and beneath it was well rusted, probably affecting the seal.
Memo to self to inspect regularly for rust and renew if necessary (replacement inexpensive).

A good tip Geof. My radiator only lasted 6 years so the cap didn't have time to rust But my new aluminium replacement has no cap
