I had a quick chat, he's not convinced. Reckons it would be a waste of time on our TD5 as it's plenty clean enough to pass the test, but thought it might be worth a try on an older vehicle that was a bit borderline.
The way I understand it, the 'tougher' emissions tests are all about making sure the vehicle remains in line with the original spec, so the people who are going to be up against it are the types who have removed their DPFs or EGRs etc?
