I've never heard of badge theft but I suppose it could happen in the right circumstances.

A quick release bar would be one solution but you would then have to secure it somewhere!

When I purchase Bumble way back in 2013, he had a BHM sticker on the left side of the sloping rear panel, which I quite liked. There was no script to get in the way.

On Tigger, there is a Plus 4 script in that position. A while ago I tried applying a BHM sticker below the Plus 4 script. It didn't look quite right, and these things are temperamental to apply. You have to be meticulous in preparing the surface, and lining it up. The slightest bit of dust will show through and look like Everest.

Anyway, yesterday I decided to apply the sticker under the Plus 4 script, so some very careful measuring was in order.

I do like the result! grin2

A close up.............
The white edge is a slight fault in the sticker, which had I noticed beforehand I would have cut off!

I think I can live with it. I only have one other yellow large badge, and the risk of messing that up is huge............

The yellow badges are rare.

to stop anyone stealing a badge (and it looks so much better than the convential badge bar), you need one of these from Librands

Alternatively, mount the bar the other way up. This will hide (from the front) most of the badge mounting bracket and also give less reduction in cooling air to the rad.
