Another 'basic' question..............I'm sure I saw somewhere on here, that the tubular cross member that goes between the bottom of each kingpin is the place to put the trolley jack. I asked the guy at Berrybrook, (from whence it came), and he confirmed this, though he didnt seem too interested in the conversation, so I was still unsure, as it looks too flimsy for the weight of the front end.
Anyone confirm this for me? cheers.Dave

Yes but make an adaptor to spread the load. I covered this in one of my how to posts.

This was my first effort, but I redesigned it when I fitted the undertray.

I never throw anything away that might possibly have a use, so metal and wood offcuts, nuts, bolts & other fasteners are all stored.

As an aside I'm just stripping the kitchen, and the amount of re-useable stuff is astonishing.........................but never fear, we're having two men in because I don't have the time to fit the new one without starving to death.
