Beautifully finished with a top notch paint job. I'd never been next to a 250 Cali before so went with the flow at first. As I say it was the body trim pieces that alerted me, and lack of any patina whatsoever. And now you mention the windscreen.....hahaha, yep I missed that at the time.

Still a bloody beauty whatever its heritage though as you say.

The Z3 conversion is done in Redditch. Did sell a couple of kits but wasn’t happy with quality of the builders so now he builds to order only. You can have pukka wheels as well as an option, he just needs to trim the axles.

I suspect the Bentley is one of those specials built out of a MkVI - so at least that would still make it a Bentley.

Giles.
A total contrast to the cars at Montlhery last year!

...indeed a Bentley, but not the Bentley it purports to be.

A "Rusty Turner Special", apparently, sold at auction last year for £125K.

Crikey, have I got a Morgan replica? It's got some kind of ford engine and nothing fits properly, someone said the wheels came from India. Must have been cobbled up in a pretty archaic way.

It was the 1939 ‘Rusty Turner’ special that sold at Silverstone Auctions last year for about £125K
