A pleasant 42 mile round trip to Belvoir Castle. Lovely walk through the grounds followed by an extravagantly priced drink each.

Sensible question Steve:

Does the polished bonnet cause a problem in sunshine?

Sensible answer, Kev:

99% of the time, absolutely none. The only time I've ever had an issue was into a low sun heading east towards Wolf land.. But it never lasted long as the road twisted.

I can't believe we've been sensible together.. grin2

Couple of miles only. We planned to take the dogs to a dog friendly day at National Botanic Garden not far from Carmarthen.
Alfie the old Springer wouldn’t settle in the car. He has an age related cognitive problem similar to dementia. Looks like his days out in the Mog are over. Monty the Cocker is fine though.
A BIG shame as he loved his days out behind us.
One day he was so excited he jumped onto the bonnet as I didn’t have him on a lead to go to the car. No damage done.
We went home to swop cars to the tintop. Alfie is ok in it.

Maybe he has sensed an issue with the mog, fumes from the tank for instance?

Excellent end to a weekend, completed by delivering No 1 son to RAF Head Quarters Air Command, High Wycombe. Seriously beautiful Chilterns countryside on the way round the backroads: ideal for a Morgan 4/4.
