I am in the fields walking the dog so all 3 of us are happy. Yup, it's all about choice and the freedom to exercise it within the marriage - even after 45 years it still works  . Agreed: she watched the wedding, I helped out at the Aerobillia Event at the BDAC. If you think AutoJumbles are "interesting" then AeroJumbles are just bonkers. £5.00 for a pair of Rolls Royce Merlin Engine mounting plates, used? About 4"' x 2"' with a pair of holes through, they sit between the engine crankcase and the engine bearers. I shall have to get to an AeroJumble by the sound of it, something completely different.

I am happy to say I will be watching it in background mode. Not the tedious run up or post event critique but I do hope to enjoy the main show. I wish them a great future as I think they make great representatives for the generations ahead. My niece is one of the Royal cattle rustlers at Windsor so I do have a little bias as well as being from a military family.   Hmmm fail to wear seatbelts

Well, the day is coming to a close. As I said in my opening post; I genuinely wish them all the best for the future.  From the small amount of coverage that I’ve seen, it all seems to have been a huge success.

Well we watched it out here after an afternoon of yacht racing in heavy rain squalls - your weather looked a lot better I must say, cucumbers sold out at the local shops and there where many parties on, these events are followed around the world. Have to say the that the American ministers sermon caused a great deal of mirth amongst our gathering and obviously at Windsor watching some of the royal family.

Yes the ministers sermon (if you can call it that) had a few professional smiles enabled. I think the moment when he asked the audience if they had come here by car which was driven by fire alternated between farce and kindergarten. I thought it might be part of a "how will she perform in weird Royal engagements" test. I think they both nearly burst into laughter at one point during it. The music of the choir that came over was beautiful though, I would have loved it if they had done a (modestly) uplifting number.

I watched the highlights on BBC2 yesterday evening.
They seemed to mix emotion, love, friends, family and pageantry really well. For the first time watching a Royal Wedding I felt it was the couples day, not a politically packaged event. Good to see the absence of politicians.
A Morgan Plus 8 would have been better than the castrated E Type.....
