It's probably a good thing (as a non-Mac user) I can't see those two smileys  Anyway, it was she who arranged for the short notice trip across to the service bay.  Got absolutely soaked leaving at end of day in the only thunderstorm for miles around

 Merlin at the oldest pub in England, appropriate for the oldest production car, don’t you think? The sharp eyed amongst you will notice that the side screens are now covered in green mohair after a trip to Allon White yesterday.  The interior trim has also been upgraded on the side screens, which reduces drafts a bit. We couldn’t find a match for the cream, so opted for a match to the green piping, which looks somehow quite appropriate. Cecily feels the cold terribly, hence the screens on a quite warm early summers evening. Tim

Glorious day here in Devon today.
Took the 4/4 out to meet up with the Founding Fossil (Graham Keen) for coffee and buns are Greendale.
Many Devon residents are aware of the Greendale Farm Shop.
Situated on the Exeter to Sidmouth road close to Westpoint; it is (imho) one of the best stocked and least pretentious farm shops that you can find.
Excellent company, great coffee and cakes; and a fantastic drive in the sunshine.
Good way to spend a morning.

Came back from a thrash round France and Spain back on Bilbao -Portsmouth ferry drove 50 minutes to home ,car behaved perfectly until;-
200 yards from home when the engine overheated dramatically ,I turned engine off and coasted home.changed relay and all back to normal.

Down to Kellys Hotel yesterday for a grreat lunch -felt the first day of Summer - really warm! What a great way to travel-- Gorgeous vista down the long bonnet and the sun beating down -- Heaven on Earth!!!!!!!

Just spent the week in Cornwall at the Cranmog event organised by John Savage et al which was excellent with 75 Mogs present.
Over 1200 miles driven in great weather.
Yesterday we came back to Suffolk in one hit 363 miles, great driving till the M25 car park.
will post some photos.

We travelled over in driving rain all the way, to Llandrindod Wells.
The fixed leaks had a serious test - and passed with flying colours!
Taffmog have made us very welcome.
The Metropole Hotel is huge. But very high standard throughout. Owned by the same family for over 125 years!
There is a Porsche Owners group here as well - and I mistakenly walked in to their dining room last night. Immediately thought that they did not look like Morganeers and retreated pronto!
Good to meet up with Wayne and his wife. Looking out for Sospan this morning who is also here.
Off on a run at 10 - forecast looking good for today.

And I was at the Cranmog Cornwall week as well. 910 miles in the week, 327 yesterday back to Cambridge in a shade under 6 hours. I left at 08.15 from near Newquay and missed the bad traffic on the M25. A great week with fabulous weather.

Bank holiday weekend, flew the road from Llanbrynmair to llanidloes over the mountain road. first proper drive of 2018. Kept ahead of the rain  but I met a load of porsche boxster owners drool I feel a change coming up
