Ah! That could well be the pack of Porsches based here in Llandrindod Wells at the Metropole Hotel.

I think / guess?

Saw them all off on their run this morning.

We drove along that road yesterday - marvellous countryside.

Taffmog have made us very welcome and we are having an excellent weekend with them all.

Just got back from a weekend in the Pas de Calais with a bunch of Morganeering pals. A lovely stay at the Ferme du Verte in Wierre-Effroy, where they now have an e-Mehari available for hire. Apparently it has a range of 130km. So I hope you're reading this Graham, here's a pic just for you!

The car behaved perfectly for 600 miles in very hot weather, which is more than can be said for the driver, I managed to scrape my offside rear wing on a large rock, leaving several gouges in the gelcoat of my wing. At least there's no damage to the wing structure, so now I have a chance to improve my fibreglass repair techniques. Ho Hum.

Yes!

Drove back home from the Wicked Welsh Weekend doo from Llandrindod Wells in convoy with three others including Zaphrod. laugh2

I do enjoy a convoy run. We were tailend charlie and its just great to see the line of cars ahead.

What a great weekend. Tell you what Taffmog made us so welcome. And we made many new Mog friends.

We are now very proud Taffmog Honorary members!!

The big Metropole hotel is very good - and ideal for car groups. Taffmog being one of three this weekend. They are all geared up for big groups. Excellent food etc throughout.

As many of you will know the surrounding roads are made for great driving. With views to match. drive

So all in all an excellent weekend.

Packing my bag again now ready for the knee op later this week. scared

So no Mog driving for me for at least a few weeks maybe longer frown2

A converted Mehari Tim!
Citroen seem to have dropped the whole idea of producing an e-Mehari (at least it has vanished from their web site, sadly!)

Neil, hope all goes well and you'll soon be back behind the wheel.

Yes, the company is called 'Mehari Loisirs' and uses Citroen 2CV or Dyane running gear fitted into the Mehari tub. I didn't realise that Citroen themselves were considering making a version.
