I thought that they were now all digitall and linked by wifi. No camera to be loaded with film.

I thought that they were now all digitall and linked by wifi. No camera to be loaded with film. They still move them about, we have what are called "speed on green" cameras. Essentially red light cameras that are also speed cameras, 48 sites 8 cameras. They get moved randomly.

Are yyou allowed to have cameras with bright white flash facing the driver? I though they had to be IR.

There are a pair of cameras on the Farnham Road into Guildford which are facing the front of the car. I have no issue with the position as it is on a quick road coming up to the school.
I never got the logic bomb ?
They are pointing at the drivers oncoming face so making it more difficult for a false declaration. But this means a bike without a front facing plate and nodding down in a helmet being good to go.
I never understood that ?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Thing about fixed speed cameras.......
They are usually bright yellow and easy to spot. I was caught by one. Conclusion is obvious to me - my forward vision scans were no way good enough or i'd have seen it and slowed down. What if said big yellow thing at side of road ( which i didn't see) had been a child running out or an person with dementia? I'd have missed them too i guess. Or hit them because i didn't see them.
Following a speed awareness course and some additional advanced driving training i now see speeding differently.
Observation is the vital element that needs to be top notch along with concentration. Eyes on main beam
