How in the hell did I miss this post....?
I've just spent the last half hour reading it from start to finish for the first time. Interesting, informative and a brilliant demonstration of skill and pride of ownership. A technical summary to stand alongside the DaveW "How to" collection. We are in your debt Tim.  Finished at last! Well, almost. I still need to polish the car. Fortunately Santa brought me a Dodo Juice DAS-6 type polisher for xmas. I have to say I'm quite pleased with the result, it all looks pretty straight to me. Not a job I'd recommend unless you have loads of time and a car lift, though.  - that looks excellent Tim; result James
