Hi Guys
The handbrake lever on my +4 is rattling like crazy, at around 3000rpm there is a constant loud rattle from the button rattling against the shaft.
I have wrapped a small piece of black tape around the shaft which has quietened it a little but not removed it fully.
Does anyone have a better fix\insight I haven't thought of?

Try some spray grease around the button.
I would also get underneath and check the fixings.

Mine does the same. It’s definitely the release button rattling.

Does that button unscrew?
I think it does..... Of couse the innards might go boing.......
But a fine neoprene washer under the button would stop it rattling.

Not sure Dave....I haven’t been brave enough to try as I don’t want to have to get under the car if it all goes pear shaped.
I think you NEED to do it as a successful author and Morgan authority 🤓😉

The button does unscrew, but it can't be taken off, as far as I could tell, didn;t want to pull it and break something!
Will find some washers and report back

Will find some washers and report back A stitch in time: Strongly advise you fix it pronto. A friend of mine had the whole lot disintegrate whilst ready to pull away at a set of traffic lights. Not easy to find the bits in the footwell and big queues behind him!
