AR in Scotland (and 11 other Morgans)

Back home since yesterday evening. Fantastic holiday in beautiful Scotland.And.... NOW RAIN....in 6 days and 2600 km. One of the most special routes were the B869 to Drumbeg ( from Unapool) and the part with Applecross ( from Z to N )to Fearnmore. And a visit to Fort Augustus and Fort William.

It sounds as if you had a fabulous trip Stefan, the car looks really nice. What sort of distance has it done in total now? Are you finding the mid range torque improving with kilometres? I drove over to the Loire last summer, putting on around 3500 kilometres and am up to over 10,500k now and mine is very definitely feeling stronger in the 2000rpm -3000rpm sector where it was very disappointing in its' early years. It will now pull 5th gear quite strongly and accelerate reasonably well in 5th at that rev. range.

Yes,Steve,Graham,Dave and Richard, the Highlands are the most magnificent place for a Morgan.
And yes Paul the AR is different now.I have done slopes of 25%in second gear,on 20 miles/h ,without any problem ( like the B869 to Drumbeg ) always ready. It is really an very good engin/configuration .Even the handbrake is working well now.
My AR has done 19950 km now and is different than in the beginning.

Great pictures. Was it you that we passed last Monday on the route from Inverness towards Applecross? We were starting to feel that we were heading the wrong way after passing so many Morgans! It is a great drive once you are up there regardless of the weather.

Hello Changster,I think it was not our group. When we went to the boat, we met 5 French Morgans who had just done 10 days in Scotland. So there where traveling a lot of Morgans in the last week in Scotland.
Did I met you on Run for the hills this year?I was with the AR and asked your colour name( of your car witch I like )AR wheels ?
