Not new to the forum, but have not used this possibility to say hi before. After a few years with constant frustration with a Lotus Elise (could never enjoy it properly!!) I ended up with an immaculate Roadster 2004. Wonderful car, wonderful Norwegian Mog owners club. Been driving it a lot in our beautiful nature, attending several club meetings and events. Also got to know nice and interesting people. And not like the fantastic driving machine Elise, I enjoy my Lady M also when she is standing still! Finally, thanks to all participants at TM that have responded to my posts in a positive and helpful way. If any of you should plan to go motoring in Norway, I will be glad to be of help.

Great to hear you have bonded with your Roadster Robbie, every one says these early one's are the one to have. I wish you many happy adventures in her. I believe Dave W knows a thing or two about them .

Hello from Germany. I just came back from your wonderfull country. The first time we have seen consciously a Morgan was some years ago at Jotunheimen. Let´s say we fell in love with the cars we saw ther withaout knowing what marque we saw... I have (this time) only seen two or perhaps two tmes the same Morgan. I fear tne driver of this car where astonished about the silly german Motorhome driver who used the horn when he passed by..

Greetings from Belgium Robbie. Some years ago we did a 3 week grand tour in Scandinavia in a motorhome. Must say Norway was by far the most beautiful country. Lucky you! Enjoy Lady M!

Robbie
I love Norway, (well my wife is half Norwegian!)
You have some magnificent driving roads which are best enjoyed at a leisurely pace in a Morgan. My personal favourite is the E55 from Voss to Sognefjord , continuing from Sogndal and over the Jotunheimen towards Otta and Lom. From sea level to the snow line twice even in summer leaves long lasting memories.
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy your car . In many ways the early Roadster is considered to be the pick of the bunch with its more powerful engine and Getrag box. Have you considered axle location with anti-tramp bars yet?

Thanks to all for a warm welcome. At TM as well as in the Morgan community in Norway, I have noticed a remarkable friendliness. I live in Bergen (originally from Oslo) at the west coast, so I am well familiar with Voss, Sogndal, Sognefjord etc. Still, there are other wonderful places, not least following the coastline. As I said before, if anyone plan to come here, I will be glad to help. As for upgrades, there are many things I considerate. For safety, handling and cosmetics. I give safety first priority, and thus the next upgrade will simply be round, convex mirrors with a better vision- possibly Heart of England model 2. I seldom drive so spirited that handling is a problem, I have not experienced a tramp to this day. Mulfab steering bearings would be nice (or perhaps wait for the Wolf ones?), though - lots of work at the steering wheel. And cosmetics are - well, cosmetics. Not so expensive, not so nescessary. But good fun. And we all know the difference between boys and men - the price of their toys. Regards to all, Robbie

You live in a beautiful country Robbie you really do with so much unspoilt areas. When we were working in West Germany in 1997 we travelled through Denmark onto Sweden (by ferry then) and through Norway as far as Oslo. It was when all the super tankers were laid up in your fjords quite a sight.
Enjoy your kilometres and smiles.
