Well, I have done it Pick up my new Roadster Sport at the weekend and will post pictures as soon as I can. Thanks all for your advice (so far) - I'm sure I will have lots of further questions. Paul

That's lovely, really sweet looking By the way If you want your photos to show, rather than link to them you will need to paste the URL of the photo, rather than the page (click through to "link to it" select size, copy that URL and either paste between two [img][/img] brackets or use the auto image inserter) thus:
Cheers

Thanks all for the kind comments BtG, thanks for sharing how to post pictures in the body of the text - thats what I wanted to do but couldn't easily find how to In the process of detailing the car now. She has been washed, clayed, primed, polished, sealed and now putting on several layers of carnauba based wax before then sealing the wheels- I suppose thats at least one benefit of the weather restricting its use. I have changed the side mirrors for stainless adjustable round ones, changed the rear view black OEM fitted one for a stainless one (both seem MUCH better), have ordered a chrome grill mesh, white indicator lenses and a pair of Dave's gaiters for the front springs. Additional power socket and leads are on order to wire directly to the battery so that I also have a power socket at the rear for my Accumate trickle charger (the Roadster already has one under the dash which I'll use for SatNav etc). What else would people recommend for a new car? Perhaps something you did or wished you had done when you got yours? Must say I'm very pleased that I went ahead (although I do miss having the Caterham too ) Paul

What else would people recommend for a new car? Perhaps something you did or wished you had done when you got yours? Paul Paul, As you make clear, we've all got thoughts about ' that little item of kit I wish I had added' but a few relatively small things you might want to consider which I find make life a lot easier are: (i)A John Taylor Storm Cover ( www.morganhoods.com ) (ii) A set of Librands door checks to replace the orignal hinge straps ( www.librands.co.uk or talk to Rob on (01707) 662950) (iii) if you are going to use the rubber corner protectors for your bneet, get some spares- you'll probably need them! (iv) ditto for the small rubber end caps which fit onto the wiper blades regards, G

Nice car, great colour- you have made similar improvements to your Roadster Sport as I've made on 4/4 Sport, in addition I have added some thick felt under the rubber floor mats - they seem like a poverty spec job to me, I am thinking about replacing them with carpets, I have a local source [who is carpet supplier to AM for 1-77 and I might approach him to make a set for me
