When I ordered my morgan I selected stage 1 so don't know the difference between no stage 1 and stage 1. Over the winter I installed the hotter S&S cams and the tuned ECU from garage 56. To me stage 2 made the engine far more linear and powerful. I thought it was a very worthwhile upgrade to go to stage 2.
I wish there was more stage, 3 guys, as I am tempted to go with the cylinders and pistons but there is not a lot of positive feedback so, for now, my journey ended at stage 2.
If you have the willingness to turn a few bolts installing the cams was not that difficult. Getting the belt back on was the most difficult. Once you figure out how to get the belt back on it would be much easier a second time.

Agree with 2Sharp.
I have a 2015 M3W. With the original air filter and exhaust the engine got too hot after awhile and ran rough.
I installed Morgan Aero Racing Stage 1 higher flow exhausts and S&S Stealth high flow air filter. My engine did not get as hot as evidenced by lack of glowing red header pipes and definitely ran better.
I purchased Stage 2 cams and recalibrated ECU from Garage 56. Installed by our local S&S Dealer. Really makes the M3W more driveable. More lower rpm torque. Do not have to downshift as much. Opens up the rpm range in each gear. Very happy with going to Stage 2. Before ordering I called Garage 56 to ask if their recalibrated ECU is compatible with the Morgan Aero Racing Stage 1 and they confirmed it is. I totally agree.
Highly recommend Stage 1 and Stage 2 upgrades.
2015 M3W, Morgan Aero Racing Stage 1, Garage 56 Stage 2, sport black, saddle tan, jeweled SS dash.

Maybe also get a set of Roller Rockers fitted while you’re at Krazy Horse Chris 😉 +1 Well worth it ! I've not ordered the roller's but will talk to Dan when I get there. The budget's already blown but after all it's only money

I added the roller rockers later and definitely better to add them when doing the cams. While the roller rockers are a work of art I would say they did not do much for noticeable power or drivability. Mine also make a little more noise at higher RPMs I believe.
Definitely the cams are worth the price of admission and the engine pulls strong all the way to redline.

Kriss, bear in mind that if you fit any upgrade kit other than the MMC one, the factory takes the view this will invalidate your engine warranty. This was confirmed to me by my dealer, who specifically asked them that question. Whether they are entitled to do so, is another matter. As I don’t want to have that argument with them, I intend to fit MMC Stage 1 kit to my car rather than G59 or Krazy Horse.
