What do I need to know about designing and fitting an air dam below the radiator of my 1960 Plus 4? I am planning to use a heavy duty rubber floor mat. Thanks.

Just don't use Flubber! scared
Your experiences on speed bumps/grounding could become exciting!
On a serious note....Graham Bell advocates a small airdam to redirect airflow away from behind the radiator effectively lowering air pressure there, helping the flow through the rad.
