A few years ago for MG Live we did the full hospitality package twice. This was before the new pit complex, so we were over the old complex. It was a good deal. Refreshments all day plus breakfast & lunch with drinks, and a balcony over the pits.
It seemed to change when the new pits were built, and I haven't come across anything like that recently.

Have to say I am disappointed with MMC 'corporate' of late.
I readily accept that it's an overhead, but for the life of me I can't see the point of buying a bus and not making the most of it. On this event alone, it could have been used to transport people around the event in the same way as the other double deckers were. What a great advertising that would be, and exposing Morgan to many more people than a static exhibit.
Why just have it parked at the factory when no event is on for it? Why not have a 'bolt-on' for paying visitors at the factory, and take them on a short tour of the area to see where HFS first started? Or visit the local ale & food suppliers?
I'd be willing to bet that the ROI on it could be improved greatly. When it's parked it's just a 3D photo..
I think having coffee & tea either on board, or directly outside whilst it was at The Classic would have been a great 'pull' both for Morgan owners or simply prospective punters.
They're missing a trick again, it seems..
Steve

Well I’m dumbfounded as to what the point of that Morgan bus is then
In the press release Steve was quoted as saying that it “will make the ideal event space or Morgan customers and enthusiasts alike”
I think we ought to highjack it if it’s at Thrill on the Hill’

Went Saturday & Sunday Bus was manned ....had coffee with SM and his Misses...great day, i guess you just got to be in the know. It seems to me you have to have the right Aero connections to be afforded the pleasure of the hospitality of the Routemaster and MMC management .. I hope they had the aircon running for you Dean . p.s. Why are you hiding away from John, he keeps calling by to take you for a run out..

Walked past twice on Sunday - hardly a soul about. You were unlucky. Mark Leddington was around on Friday morning, and James Gilbert on Sunday. Both on good form and very chatty. I even met Norman (who now works with Williams) who gave me my first drive in a Morgan on a visit to Malvern eight years ago. He didn't laugh when I couldn't figure out a fly-off handbrake - but he must have been p1ssing himself inside.
