Two questions. 1. What is the Ford gearbox type/model?
2.Anyone has experienced a reverberating noise (the noise only comes about on power or semi power, not when not under power)?

It is probably the Ford 2000E gearbox (my '71 has that 'box). It is the Type 3 gearbox if it has a separate bell housing. If the bell housing is integral, it is a type 4. The noise may not be gearbox - it may be a pro-shaft UJ. Don.

It’ll probably be a 2000e single rail box? Assuming right hand drive reverse will be towards the passenger and forwards. Sorry can’t help with the noise, Burtonpower have all the bits for these.
