This evenings bulletin from the team.
The Bluebird Project team had to spend a long day at the side of Loch Fad. Once the team had fuel there was delay caused by the igniters not working. An evening run was started and the pilot had to deal with the handling change on full fuel load. The canopy failed and the running plan was safely brought to an end. Tuesday will start with some period of technical work.

Bill and the team hard at work fashioning a makeshitft canopy to replace the original got damaged following deceleration after last night’s high speed run. They have said this evening that they could have gone as fast as 150mph last night  .
