I can understand coming onto the plane gently but with all that pitch and yaw fuel starvation at campbell speeds would just immediately make the bow just dig in surely in anything but flat calm water.Fuel was found in the lines and engine on recovery he possibly hit a few wavelts and just took off,

If anybody here likes classic speed boats check out the bluebird jetstar with a Hamilton jet Donald used to take out people for trips whilst up on the lake.
