Fun story: picked up my second hand Roadster from the official Morgan supplier i Norway a year a half ago, never driven a Mog before. Drove 500 km from Oslo to Bergen. I knew the suspension would be hard, but I was shocked by both the ride and the handling, which was unpredictable in curves with sudden changes from under- to oversteering. Well, I thought, at least the car looks good...Thought visits to both dentist and spinal surgeon was imminent. After a some weeks (!) I checked the pressure, and found that the dealer had forgotten to lower the winter storage pressure, so it was 40! Got it down to 18 which changed the car completely. Nice ride, predictable handling but sluggish and very heavy at the wheel. Now I am happy at 22 in front and 24 back. Might as well be the same on all four.

22 all round for me, going up to 24 at the rear when touring with luggage.

On a related subject. Tyre pressure gauges.
Not sure what is correct the garage forecourt machines or my rather expensive gauge. Why
Well having driven to 5 garages & checked the pressures all were virtually the same. I sent 2 different type of pressure gauges back as they under reading (compared to garages) Decided to buy the expensive one which also under reads by about 2 lbs.
2 lbs seems to make quite a difference on my 4/4 which makes the above kind of interesting in that, am I running 20f 22r or 22f 24r ? Note my morgan service centre gauge matches the forecourt machines.
