It may be that the dealer in question use a finance company to fund their stock. Its common with bigger dealer groups where cash flow is an issue. From personal experience I'd have thought the likes of Allon White and BHM would be very happy to help.

I guess it is worth speaking to BHM etc then if RTCC have this limitation. Best wishes with the sale and new car.

My car has a 5 digit chassis number and I bought it from Richard Thorne, they had taken it as a trade-in on a new car.
That was nearly 11 years ago though.
