The +4 clubsport remap and Aero racing sports exhaust upgrade. The +4 clubsport was launched at Geneva this year quoted at 180bhp at the flywheel I believe.

Hi Malcolm, Is this readily available through the dealer channel yet? May I ask you what it cost to do?
I currently have a 2017 Plus 4 without sport exhaust, but would like to have a few more bhp...

Not 100% sure maybe through the motorsport dealership network, as to cost again I'm not sure I got mine done as a prototype test vehicle in November last year so it saved me a bit of

Hi Malcolm, how would you compare the exhaust noise with the standard exhaust? I'm looking for more power/torque, but don't want a very loud exhaust. Is it a big difference? My dealer quoted the remap, combined with the Williams Sports Exhaust. regards, Thomas

Hi, FYI I have the ClubSport remap (a good investment) with the sport 4-1 manifold and sport catalyst but I retrofit the standard factory silencer and I did' notice any real "power" or "torque" difference with the sport silencer... I have switched back to the standard silencer because the sport silencer was too loud for me (especially on long distances) and my neighbour .... And the Belgian police :-) Dada

That is interesting, Dada.
I discussed the tuning option with my dealer and he put me in contact with a client who had the remap done and a Williams Sport Exhaust fitted. This client, very generously, let me drive his tuned Plus 4 to feel the difference to my standard one. Which is what I just did.
It felt not as a huge increase in power/torque. Just a bit more breath. Power delivery felt 'easier' (don't know how to describe it more accurate). The exhaust was not really LOUD, but a bit to intrusive for my taste.
The guy from the maintenance department at the dealer said the sport exhaust was really needed for the tuning to be effective.
But your experience is different. Interesting... Even more options to consider.

Hi Thomas sorry its taken awhile to get back to you (computer issues) regarding my exhaust it is a little bit louder but not really intrusive as such, certainly a bit more burble (pops and bangs) on overrun. Seems to quieten as it warms up but I might just be getting used to the sound.

All, the Clubsport Remap can only be done by having the ECU sent to the MMC factory by your dealer. My dealer says it can be done in 10 days and costs roughly 300 EUR.
Malcolm, can you provide any video or sound file of the exhaust sound? Does is get even louder after the remapping? And would I have any chance passing the MOT with those changes?
