If you e-mail me the VIN, I can try to get the official colour for you from MMC.
Equally, if you call them directly, they should be able to pull the build record and tell you exactly what the colour is and the code for it. Simon, given that I never hesitate to vent my spleen on the Factory, I think it is also fair to praise them when they do, as we all acknowledge, 'go the extra mile' I wanted to check the colour of my car and all I did was to ring up. Reception then got it all sorted for me and I had an e-mail with the info that same afternoon. Giving them the benefit of the doubt- at least when it comes to older cars, I think what sonmetimes happens with the dealers is that they get 'thrown' by the fact that the suppliers changed a number of years ago ( presently 'Glasurit' I think)? Although I don't discount the fact that on some occasions they just can't be *rs*d!! Cheers, G You've got to love the G; starts with a mild compliment and ends with a dig!

I'm pretty sure they've gone back to ICI Autocolor G, now called Nexa Autocolor I believe.  B
