Excellent response, thank you. I'll pass that on to Eric if I meet him.

Yes. Took the Morgan to Winslow show today, then on to uncle/aunt in Aylesbury, before running for home. Grand day out! smile

If you do meet him, perhaps he could introduce you to Steve?

But did you win at the tombolas?
I took a boring Avis Peugeot 2008 lump to LHR to get to Jo'burg.

The lady at Avis told me there was a scratch on the front wing so they would claim from the insurance. See if you can see it. I think she must get a bonus on the number of scratched cars she books in.

By where your her foot is in the reflection.

Pretty standard stuff with Avis. I was charged (well they tried) for scuffed hubcaps a while back on one of their cars, until that is that I pointed out it had Alloys! (one of the drop off with keys in pen car and they collect) quite amusing but clearly fraudulent.

Yes, sadly it goes on, and on and on

The enemy to spotting previous marks and scratches when checking a hire car is rain, dirt and bright cloudy days. If it’s sunny and dry and the car is shiny, they are much easier to spot.

As stated in the Meets and Events for Winslow - no. Not a sausage (though I did buy a hot dog from the usual van), not even a bottle of water or some child's toy. I put that down to a lack of direct competition! laugh2 laugh2
Next year will be different - probably back on the bacon baps! grin2
