Btw, what does a Velocette Venom look like? Sounds mean! Thanks for well wishes Shaun. My Venom - Classic British 500 single.  Trademark fishtail silencer gives pleasing thud when lugging through villages but likes a few revs to keep up with modern traffic. A factory prepared basically standard version still holds the record for 500cc singles, averaging just over 100mph for 24 hours, set in 1961.
