We live just inside the M25 at Upminster. We are ALWAYS seeing Spitfires fling over. We must average 2-3 a week in the summer. The Sally B flew over a couple of weeks ago. My wife doesn’t believe me when I tell her they use the M25 to navigate (and they have to keep away from airports)

I think they do. We always saw them in Bucks (Amersham).
I have an ex RFE mate who organised fly pasts over buck house. They always came out from London over Tesco at Amersham.

BBMF don't have all the gizmos of modern aircraft and tend to take pride in doing it the old way (mostly) although you may see an iPhone or Garmin stuck the windscreen from time to time. They often follow motorways and other significant landmarks as way points to ensure they protect the rare birds they fly.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
