The guys at the workshop that I trust got my new leaf springs fitted using a copy of your post on that subject that I printed out for them. Many thanks for your comprehensive photo guide. It had them well prepared. I bound the springs with the Denso tape you recommended too, boy is that sticky stuff to handle, but it seals up on itself really well.
